Obituary

On February 25, 1985 Kynike Cockrell-Stewart was born to Mary J. Cockrell and Robert Jefferson. She was  one of five children (3 girls and 2 boys).

Kynike confessed to Christ at an early age under the leadership of C.H. Brown, and then preceding in leadership under Pastor Jack Vaughn, She joined Mt. Carmel M.B. Church. Kynike was a member of the Choir, Pastor’s Assistant, Women Ministry and operated under the Usher Ministry for a number of years.Kynike knew that faith in the Lord was an essential part of life.Kynike became a member of Eastern Stars with Starlight #037 in Macon, Ms on February 26, 2015.

Kynike was proceeded in death by her grandmother Lillie Bell Cockrell, Jimmie Lee Neal, Clemie Ann Jefferson, Joe Jefferson, Travis Cockrell, Pauline Grisson and Lillian Cockrell, Ronnie Cockrell.

Kynike enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Kynike enjoyed shopping and couponing, football, and the Heat of the Night. The biggest joy l of them all was the love for God that Kynike displayed for Heaven and earth, Kynike was a lover of people, and a blessing to many, Her favorite scripture was Proverbs 3:5-6. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all ways submit to hi and he will direct your path.”

A graduate of the Noxubee High School Class of 2003. KynikeStewart meet and married Antonio Stewart April 25,2009. To their union, 6 children were born.

Kynike leaves to cherish five children and two Sons in Love: Kehemiah Stewart, Tamarian Stewart, Z’erah Stewart, Antravean Stewart, Jaylon Stewart, Jaceyone Mallard and Cortez Bush.
