In Memory of Linda F. Jernigan

Ms. Linda Faye Jernigan was born October 18, 1950 to the late Mrs. Ollie Mae Jernigan and late Roosevelt Kirk in Louisville, MS. Linda departed this life on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at 9:30 pm at Hickory Cottage at WMC Nursing Home, Louisville MS.

Linda was a member of Mt. Pleasant M. B. Church where she was a devoted Usher. She attended Louisville High School and later joined the Job Corp where she studied nursing skills. Linda loved cooking and feeding family. She also loved to eat and travel. She worked at Spartus Corporation for 15 years.

Preceded in death are her parents, her only son MichealJernigan, 1 sister; Sarah Welch and life-long partner; George Buggs. She leaves to cherish her memories her (1) daughter law; Ada Jernigan (2) sisters; Elizabeth Thompson (Ronald) of Louisville, MS and Doris Lane of California; 2 brothers; Jerry Mack Jernigan of Moline IL and Tommie Williams (Linda) of Eupora, MS, 2 grandchildrenJessica & Preston, 5 nieces, 7 nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
