Murico “Rico” Wendell Lewis, 33, was born on July 19, 1989, in Omaha, Nebraska to Diane Lewis of Shuqualak, MS and Wendell Hull of Minneapolis, Minnesota. He departed this life on July 13, 2023.

He confessed to Christ at an early age and was baptized under the leadership of the late Dr. Rev. W.I. Clark at New Shiloh Baptist Church of Shuqualak, MS.

He attended Noxubee County High School and graduated with the class of 2007. After high school he attended EMCC(Scooba) and immediately went into the workforce. He was currently employed with The Goodyear Tire and Rubber Corporation.

He leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Diane Lewis (Shuqualak, MS), father, Wendell Hull (Minneapolis, Minnesota), 5 siblings, Latrasha(Corey)Lewis and Tiauna Foote of Shuqualak, MS, Chanell Hull(Texas), Armani Isbell(California), and Wendell Hull(Massachusetts). He also leaves behind one daughter, Taylor Lewis (West Point, MS). He leaves behind uncles, aunts, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, two special cousins (Rafael and Kedrick Lewis) and friends. In addition, he leaves a special friend, Danyell Hill (Aliceville, AL) and her family.

He is preceded in death by his stepfather, Vincent Foote, maternal-grandparents Mr. Kenneth Sr (Pauline) Lewis, paternal-grandparents Mr. Sam (Carolyn) Hull of Nebraska. Murico was also preceded in death by his six uncles and four aunts.
